Christmas has passed once again and soon we will be writing 2010. I would like to wish everyone a very good holiday still and all that you may wish for 2010.

Enkele jaren geleden heb ik in Birmingham gedurende het Festival of Quilts een setje gekocht om een speciale doos te maken (mijn allereerste) - ik heb wel mijn eigen stofjes gebruikt. Ik heb deze nu uiteindelijk afgewerkt en gevuld met chocolade en als extratje onder de kerstboom geplaats voor mijn zoon en zijn partner.
A couple of years ago I bought a set of cardboard to make a special box - this was a first for me. I finally got around to finishing it and I did use my own fabrics. I put it as a little extra under the Christmas tree for my youngest son and his partner - filled with chocolats.
Het is een tijdje geleden dat ik bij je op visite ben geweest. Zo te zien heb jij niet stil gezeten. Wat is er weer veel moois te zien. Ik vind je landschap quilt helemaal geweldig. Dat is iets wat ik ook wel eens wil proberen. Jenny, ik wens jou en je familie de allerbeste wensen voor het nieuwe jaar en tot gauw!

Hi Jenny! Thanks for the kind birthday wishes! I REALLY love your repro challenge quilt top. WOW! And that Special Box is very special. I have a book that tells how to make something similar though not nearly as lovely.
